All theory, dear friend, is gray, but the golden tree of life springs ever green. - Goethe
Try listening to some good music such as Pachebel's "Canon" or the Blue Danube Waltz. Or go outside and take a long walk.
After it gets dark, go outside and look at the stars. Remember how infinitely large and beautiful the world is, and how lucky we are to be here even briefly. Maybe that will lift your spirits a bit.
Perhaps you need to just sit with the bad mood for a while, and let it be what it needs to be. It sounds like you've been through a lot; don't try to force the "happy-happy" mood if it's just not there. But long walks and stargazing are always good.
I'm right there with ya. Ugh. Sorry!
Robin - thanks for the joke, I would publish but I am keeping the site G ;-)
No worries PlaidShoes. I am sure that you and plenty of other U*Us have heard that riddle cum joke about how many U*Us it takes to screw in a light-bulb before. ;-)
